The Baking Research Trust is an independent organisation serving the New Zealand baking industry and has a website which is very useful for those interested in learning more about nutrition and baking.

 The website has a dedicated section for school children and teachers who want to explore all that baking involves – like skills, career options and general information on baking

There is a Frequently Asked Questions section where you can easily email your question to their experts.

There is a useful Hot Topics section on subjects like gluten free food and the recent Best Pie contest in New Zealand plus there is a free recipe section too. Ideal if you want a great muffin recipe!
